Something I think is unfair or unjust in our world today are people judging others. It has gotten much better since the older days, when people were judged by their color, but i still feel that it is really bad. It isnt fair that people are judged by what they wear or what they look like. It isnt fair to judge someone on how much money their fsamily makes either. I think all of that is not important what so ever. Someone should only be judged by who they are, and what they say and do.

I also hate how people think they have the right to make fun of someone who doesn't fit in. That's not right or just at all. Everyone is the same deep down, and that's just not right to make fun of someone because in the world of highschool, and brand names, and social scenes, they don't seem to fit in. I think those are the people who make the most of life, and deserve the most credit.

There are many things that are unfair or unjust about the world that we live in today. Many things, including sports, people can cheat. For example, for tennis, many people call balls out in order to get more points and the opposing side can't do anything about it. That is an unfair call.
Somethings that are unjust might concern matters such as in court. There is still prejudice today where people judge others just by their past backgrounds or even appearance. Judges could give an unjust rule easily, for they do rule the court. In one case, I have watched the news hearing that a white officer beat a black man after pulling them over. That is an unjust action. There are many unfair and unjust events happening all around us and many times, not much can be done.

There are lots of unfair things in todays world. For me, I would consider the way my parents treat me and my brother differently is unfair. For starters, I got a cell phone in the middle of 8th grade. My brother got one when he was in 5th grade. When I would bring that up to my parents they would just shurg it off. The thing that has really been unfair to me is that my parents have forced me to run cross country and track since 7th grade. Bringing up the topic of not wanting to do it just makes them angry. My brother on the other hand, is now in 7th grade, and they told him to go out for it, but he didn't and now they just don't care. Maybe they have some other plan in mind for him, but to me I thought they always wanted both of us to be runners throughout school.

Today in the world there is just and unjust topics. Something i agree that is unjust is the government. They are unjust because it seems like they don't tell the citizans everything, and some laws are unfair.

I believe the government is a load of scams and fake smiles. People are elected by voters, but not enough people care to vote. Then it isn't even fair for the citizans to complain of the elected officasl because they never voted! An example would be govener Rob Blagoavich. He tried to sell Obama's senate seat to anyone with enough money. What kind of people are leading us?! With the rage i have of unjust things in politics i think i might use that rage and be in the politics world when i am older so i can do something more about it.

One thing I beleve is unfair is that you have to drive a total of 50 hours to get your liscense. I believe this is unfair because it is too many hours. Many people don't always have someone to take them driving to get those hours. Also people need liscenses as soon as possible so they can get jobs. Many people don't even do the 50 hours anyways and just have their parents lie on the sheet.

I also believe wearing our I.D.s around our neck is unfair. I believe this because they are uncomfortable and we have no reason to have to wear them. They should be carried by people at all times, but not to be worn. They also can become a huge distraction. The reason they are making us wear the I.D.s is because of something that happened at a different school, not ours.

I believe it is unfair for kids undder the age of 16 to have only 1 other person in the car. What if your other friend needs a ride snd csnt find one? Your not going to leave him standing in front of the school or wherever. I believe 16 yr olds should be able to drive more than 1 person in the car.

I believe that a lot of things are not fair in the world. Such as children being left on street corners with no food to eat and no house to live in. I don't think it's fair that although many people in this world are very wealthy they use their money for things that don't matter, rather than helping out someone who has nothing.

I always say things are not fair in my own personal like, I can't stay out one more hour with my friends, I have to clean my room on a Saturday, these are the things that I don't think are fair. But then I think back to people that have nothing and it just goes to show that no one has a perfect life. Life isn't fair, and there is no way to change that.

I believe some parts of life are unfair because I believe not everyone in the world has the same opportunities as others. For example, children that were born from a wealthy family in American, have more opportunities that children that were born in the slums of Africa.
Another thing that is unfair is racism. It is not fair for the people who get judged on the color of their skin. They didn't have a choice on what color their skin was going to be when they came out of their mother's womb.

I think segregation is unjust although it is human's nature. Although segreagation could be justifying in some situation, I think segregation to malevolence otheres is unjustifying.
Some of the examples of unjustifying segreagation is such as college resume because it is it is determined my your skin color such as African American, Asian, and Cacasian. So only some percent of some race would go in that college. That means that there is more or less chance to get accepted to college because of their race or even religion. Getting into college is subjective so you can't really complain but I see those practices from colleges as unjustifying.

when someone provokes by saying something that ticks you off. you retaliate back and the teacher sees you fighting or saying something. you are the only one that gets in trouble because the teacher didn't see the whole picture. this is totally unfair.

This is a very strange quote, and I think this is true. The world is a pretty unfair place. It is unfair that is there are innocent people dying. Another thing that is unfair is people getting away with something, and people going to jail eventhough they are innocent.
I think people ripping people off is unfair. Also, people have to steal stuff from each other. Another thing is that rules are getting a little to strict, and people are not getting enough freedom anymore or enough protection. That is what i think is unfair.

I believe that one of the many things that is unfair in our world today is how our goverment, seniors, and adults say that us, as teens, are unhealthy. We are put into a school for at least eight hours a day, during which we must learn some things that may not pretain to our future careers, or that do not intrest at all. We are then given usually at least an hour and a half of homework, though usually more. We are also told to be involved with as many extracurricular activities as possible, encouraged to lead a good social life, and help out at home. With all these activities that are expected of us we tend to be up late into the night, or morning in many cases, and then we must repeat it the next day, waking up early. We are then told that we lead an unhealthy lifestyle, and stay up to late, and sometimes are told that we are lazy and do not have enough responsibilities. I believe that this is unfair and unjiust.

There are many different senarios in which I feel that things are unfair or unjust. A certain situation might involve a person that is being bullied by another person. When something like that happens I feel enraged and question myself why a human being could be so cruel. I must remind myself that not everyone in the world is kind or caring of other people's emotions.
The best thing for me to do in that type of situation is to, no matter what sort of thing will happen to me (even though I probably should not be doing this as often as I do), stand up for that person being bullied.

I think that the world today is both unjust and unfair. Some of the things that I believe to be unjust or unfair would be our goverment and court systems. Or sometimes I thnk that the world is unfair in the way that they treat other people.
One major thing that i think is unfair is how we're still in th middle east. We have o business over there. I also think that the way people threat eachother can be unfair and unjust. People are ometimes judgemental or quick to stereotype.I just feel that our whole economy in unfair.

I think that there is a lot that is unjust and unfair about our world today. For example, the court system is unjust because it lets some guilty criminals go free while innocent criminals suffer in jail. Also, the school system is sort of unfair. The administration forces kids to wear identification all day every day.
When a student forgets his or her id, he or she has to get a temporary id from the school. If that student forgets his id five times over the course of a nine month school year, he or she has to pay a dollar for each successive temporary id. Some universities let in more minorities than white students, even if they have worse grades than the white students. Tobacco companies continue to market addictive cigarettes to young children, even though cigarettes are awful for you. The political system is unjust, politicians constantly corrupt themselves for campaign funds, and then they have to repay the lenders of the funds once they gain office. This involves use of taxpayer money to repay debts or giving of government jobs.

In life alot of things that are wrong and unjust go unnoticed in our society. Animals house pets or wild all deserve some sort of respect. A main factor that contributes to animal abuse always has to do with its owner or the abuser. Most of the time the person abusing a helpless animal has been hurt somehow in their life and feel they need to take it out on a dog for example that will love them even if they abuse it. The most important thing about animal abuse is it's not fair. Its not fair to hurt someone who cant even fight back or stick up for themselves in any way. Its not fair for people to buy animals and let them live their whole life in a cage looking out and wishing they could be free. Not only is it animal abuse unjust and not fair but what are we doing about it?

Yes, today there are many organizations to help animals and save the lives of those in danger(animal cops). This is the best thing anyone can do to try and make life fair for abused animals besides the fact if you know its happening to try n get that animal out of the abusive environment by reporting it. I feel very strong about the protection of animals and how they should be treated. I have helped save horses from slaughter, and animals from abusive homes and i think by treating animals right thats what would be fair. Fairness to me isn't only for people its for animals too because they are just as important, especially to the people that own and love them.

in the world i think there are many unfare and unjust things. For example there are many people who dont get jobs because some people are raciest, sexist, or dont think someone younger can do a better job than someone older. I think it is also unfair when you get in trouble for swearing because we have a freedom of speech.

if ,life were fair they'd call it fair this is a true statement because life is never completely fair in all eyes. no matter it what situation or perdsicament who ever loses the arguement believes life isnt fair. also with other countries like north korea they dont have any electricity other than in the capital also they cant leave the country and if they try they go to a prison camp where they are most likely killed. life is not fair and it will never be fair bewcause people have different beliefs on what is fair. some may think that it is appropriate tpo ground their child for 1 year for getting bad grades while other parents just say they are disappointed and that they should be try harder next year. it all depends on how they are raised and maybe even how religion may cause unfair justice.
to sum it all up life will never be fair in all eyes and if it ever were life would be great because there wouldnt be terrorist flying into the world trade centers who think they are doing the right thing for there gods but we think it's unfair because it's killing 1000's of innocent family members and loved ones. life cant be fair.

One thing I think is unfair is how Juniors cant get parking passes to school unless they buy it from a senior for a lot of money or if they are in a special class where they get one. Also, there shouldnt be as many seniors driving as there are. Not all of them need to drive because they can ride together and that would even save money on gas.

Also, I think its unfair how we have so much homework. There should be a sechedule where like english and math can only give homework monday, wednesday, and friay. And then science and extra curricular classes can only give homework tuesday and thursday. That way you dont have 3 hours of homework dumped on you every night.

i think that life is very unfair. there are so many wrong things and people in this world it makes me sick to my stomach.
i hate that people judge others, especially when they are so bad they shouldnt be judging. i also think its terrible that there are girls in the sex slave trade all over the world. there are young girls who should be going to school and making friends who are being sold to people who want illicit sex from young girls. it makes me want to hurt someone.
i also dislike people who cheat. i wont say ive never done it because i have and i have paid the price for my actions but its sad how some people make it all the way to college by cheating then get through college by cheating then get a job by cheating....is there wholen life one big fat blob of cheating????
gosh life really sucks sometimes.

What i think is most unfair in our world is people's intolerance of another race or creed. It has improved greatly but a lot of peoplr still live in fear of persecution and ridicule and it just isn't fair for them. It's how they were born and there is nothing they can do to change that so people should respect them.

Another thing i can't stand to see in our world is people's selfishness. How constantly arrogant people stand in the way of a hard-working person just so they can make an extea couple bucks or so. People are always, and only looking out for themselves and it makes the world more corrupt. It drains the love and care from everyone and just makes them bitter and cold. People need to be more respectful and more open to help others.

In life today there are lots of things that are unfair. One of which is the situation you are born into. It isn't your fault that you are born into an area with poor living conditions, lack of running water or a communist country. You are born into the placde around you without any choice of your own. It is something that you have to deal with and fight against for your whole life.

The need for wearing school ID's isn't fair to almost all of the students that are affected. A few people who thought it would be funny to play a practical joke on the school by writing on bathroom stalls ruined it for the rest of the students. Now, every person has to have a standart ID and lanyard to set foot in our school. My freshman year we only had to carry our ID's with us, but now its mandatory to wear them. If it wasn't for the pranksters, the innocent ones wouldn't be encumbered by the lanyard and ID that seem to get in the way and fall off whenever possible. Life isn't fair.

The world is extremely unfair because of how people act and what they do. Everyone wants to fit in some way and in order for people to due this, they put on somewhat of a fake persona and never act themselves. With this fake persona of theirs you can never really trust anyone because you can't differ what is truth and not.

This makes the world unfair because everyone feels that in order to fit in they must please another group or person and or act like such group. Because of this the world seems like one huge lie and no one really seems to be themselves unless they are in a comfortable position. Why is the world so harsh that people have to stop being true to themselves and be someone else?

Also if it depends on where you are born like if your the son of a millionare its not fair to kids in africa because you can start with great education and wealth.

What i feel is unjust or unfair in our world today is people are still juding others. It use to be just about the color of your skin, but nowadays its, in a way about what you wear, your hair and basicly just about what you look like. Also about how much money one person has compared to another. There are some people out there who only are freinds with people just because of how much money they have and what they look like. how are you suppose to get to know alot of people when all you do is judge them but what they have on the outside?!

i believe something should be done. maybe schools can make it so everyone gets to know everyone from the insides and not the outside. i guess if you know a person from the inside and you dont like them then you wont be judging them. youll be giving them a chance to get to know you and a chance for you to get to know them. our world really needs to get over the judging them before they know each other, other wise we might be in bogger trouble then we realise.

One thing that I think is unfair or unjust in the world are parents. Parents think that they are the boss of everyone. They tell you go do this and go do that. Well im sick of it. Its gotten on my nerves. I know that they are trying to protect their children when they tell them not to do something, but they have already had their fun in their lives, now it's time for ours. We are smart enough to make our own decisions and do what we want to do. We don't need to check up or tell you every little detail about what we do. It gets really annoying.

I believe that the occurances in life are unfair. I say this because there are things that happen like death, hardship, and losses that are out of our reach. For example there are natural disasters like hurrican Katrina that devistated the southwest. I also believe there are hardships such as disagreements and unfortunately war between groups of people with different values. I feel that these life events that are out of our reach only help us to find ways to get past them. They reveal to us our real character, abilities, and areas in our life that need improvement. For me, I feel that these growths in life out-weigh the difficulties. Thus it depends on how people view and approach their lives. People can choose to call life unfair if they believe that they're more deserving and things are too difficult. Then there are those who accept the fact that things will be hard, and turn that around to their benefit. I believe i can relate to both. There are times when i feel that things are so outrageous and tough, yet there are times where i can find a small victory out of the issue.

There are so many unfair things in this world, but the case i think the most unfair is that people being hypocrite. They tell people not to do this or that but they do the same thing without realizing them doing it. Then he/she talks behind others' back.

It is so unfair how people do not realize their own problems and find out others' problems easily and criticize others as if she/he is so innocent. I think people should treat others as they want to be treated to make this world fair.

In this world, there are many things that are unfair and simply not just. One thing that really sticks out to me is the way that people judge others. Long before our times, people were judged by their skin color and even before that, what their ststus was in the community. Nowadays, judging people has ataken a whole new form/idea. People now judge by money and material possessions. People are left out at school becausse other kids do not like their appearance or them just being there in general. People say that life isn't fair, now why would you want to make someones life hell in the first place?

I think it is unfair how the American goverment hides things from it's people. We may be the most free nation in the world but how much do we really know abuot what is going on around us.

There will always be corruption in goverment, yes I know that, but there are so many secrets and lies that our goverment has hidden from us. A lot of Americans are against the war in the Middle East and what purpose do we have to even be there? I don't know all of the facts but I do know that when there are nations at war, people who have a lot of power and money, who own the companies that make supplies for war; guns, tanks, even the clothes and canteens. War time provides jobs in these factories and companies. Most of the people who are in charge and own these compalies influence congress. War actually helps these men in power make money, then they bribe the congressmen to vote their way. It's corrupt. This is just one example of some of the secretive things that the goverment "fogets" to mention. It is unfair for lives to be lost due to war while others make more money that they don't need.

"If Life were fair, they'd call it fair" is a ver true quote. One thing thats not fair and bugs the heck out of me is the way my parents treat my siblings compared to the way they treat me. I was never allowed to watch any PG 13 movies until I was actually 13. Then when I turned 13, the movies I watched had to of been seen and approved by my parents first. Now my three younger siblings could watch pretty much anything. No restrictions.

Another thing that isnt fair is the fact that I have to pay for almost EVERYTHING. My parents tell me its a good life lesson. But now that my sister is growing up, she doesnt have to pay for a cell phone, clothes, or movies. My parents provide all of it for her. But when I grew up I had to pay for my cell phone, ipod, computer, most of my clothes, and the band trip to Hawaii over Spring Break (and that was over $2,000).
I guess in some ways, it is a learning process. But I definitely think that most of it is unfair. There are so many things that go on in ths world that are completely unfair though. So, its just something people have to live/deal with.

fair is like perfect- it doesn't exist. mathmatically, sure; in real life, no. every human will have a different view on any topic. those who support abortion think it isn't fair that a woman will be criticized for doing so for her personal reasons. those who don't support abortion think it isn't fair that someone wasn't allowed to be born and live a life.

if only people worried about themselves and people they care about, not what some stranger does-maybe then we'll come closer to living "fair and perfect" lives.

Prejudice and racial discrimination is common in our society. Individuals are discrimated against due to the color of their skin, their race- in general, their physical appearance. Often times, people disregard a person's unique characteristics due to their external appearance. Morepover, the judgements that people make of one another are often wrong. It is not fair to the individual being judged because he or she is not being seen for who they really are.

Likewise, stereotyping individuals based on the groups or clubs that they are associated with often has the same effect. Characters are placed on the individual because of their association with that particular group. Every person deserves to be recognized as an individual.

Taehwan Hwang said...

I think one of the world's unfair things is prejudice. People evaluate one another only by their own point of view. Even though a person is talented and friendly, people have tendency to jugde them by the person's race, color,or look. They don't understand how the person might feel about it and they don't think how they would feel if they are prejudiced. Therefore, I think predudicing people is unfair thing.

Furthermore, one more thing that I think it is unfair is that when people make fun of others ony because they think it's fun. I think it shouldn't be happening because people who make fun of other don't want to be made fun. So I think it's the other unfair thing that is happening.

i believe that one of the most unfair and unjust problem in the world today, is the education systems and environments of urban lower classes. Back in the 1980's city residential homes were the most affluent and merchandised areas in America. However, the inflation that destroyed the economy from the 1970's uproared unemployment rates and left many people jobless. In search of work most of the middle and upper class moved to the rural and suburban areas which were plentiful of jobs; leaving behind the lower classes still living in poverty.

Consequently, the lower classes had an even more difficult time in the city because of the lack of leadership in corporations from the upper and middle class citizens. The once thriving and friendly communities turned into ghettos. Young teens had less educational motives because of the negative environment and horrible teachers. They then indulged themselves into gangs, violence, and drugs to try to make money. One can only look foward to social reform for chance of equal educational opportunities.

There are a lot of things in the world that aren't fair but the one thing i think in totally unfair is the way people judge other people. Eventhough we all do it it doesnt make it right.People all over the world are killin their selves and gettin sergeries and changing the way they look just because of what people say. One of the main reasons a person can get unliked or teased is their skin color. I have a lot of experience with because my mother is white and my father is black, and my 2 younger brothers have a mexican father so people ask us all the time are we adopted. Also when i met my moms brother i didnt knw he didnt like black people so when he saw me he just said i wasnt his niece and he called me inapropreate names. I was 12 at the time so i really didnt understand why my own family member was saying all these terrible things to me. And now that i got older i understand that so people are stuck in their bad ways and judge people before they get the chance to know them. I try to do my best and not judge people because i know bad it feels when someone just downs you and you really cant do anything about it but walk away. But in my case with my uncle he had to deal with my dad and my 8 older brothers. Lastly i feel that everyone should just try and stop judging people because it hurts and its unfair.

Life is unfair. Many people are aware of this. Something that makes it unfair is judgment. Yes, humans are entitled to their own opinions. However, keep it to yourself. Judgments can be cruel and hurtful. Judgements can be false, and can spread like wildfire. When a person opinionates something, unless they are asked, they should keep it to themselves.

When people see someone who appears to be an unattractive human being, their impulsed thoughts say "ew, gross". That is not fair at all until you meet the person, you cant judge a book by its cover. People judge sexualitys, races, religions, and so on. Until you understand where someone is coming from or what their life is like you can not make a judgement, who knows they could turn out to be a new friend.

One thing inpaticular that i can think of that is unfair and unjust is that kids in classes have homework and test that are easier that other peoples homework and such. it seems to me that the people who are smarter and have AP classes seem to have more benifits like going to the front of the lunch line because they have an AP class. or that some teachers let there students out early before the bell so they have some free time to themselves.

then you have your other students, the average ones who take all normal classes and have loads of homework every night and at least two quizes of test a week. Thats unfair to me because we work just as hard as the smarter students maybe even harder. so i think that the smart students and the average ones should both have the same benifits that everyoneelse has.

I think life can be unfair in many ways. Whether it be not getting what you wanted or maybe people just want to be treated better. Some peoples biggest problems are other peoples smallest problems.

The truth of the matter is that life is not fair. Life is not fair for a reason. Maybe life isn't fair to you because you lost a love one. Maybe it isn't fair because you had to switch schools or you not as good a person as you hoped you could have been. Life is what you make of it and if you choose it to be unfair then it will be.

What I believe is unjust in our world today is that everyone says no judgement, but every second of everyday everyone judges each other for every look, action, or mistake ever. Like when some people walk into interview, if they are not that great looking their chances are lowered in an instant.

Looks are to important in our society. We are all judged by looks and by clothes. But it some cases everyone is just judging on the amount of money someone has. We all pretend that we don't do any of these things, but in reality we revolve around them. Life is not fair in these ways, and I am sure they never will be.

I think that it's unfair and unjust that rich or strong people are willing to use whatever power they have to pick on the weak. It's unfair because when things escalate and get dragged into court, the weak person can't do anything about it, and the powerful person has complete control. For example, a person with a lot of money can hire a better lawyer in court when he wants to sue someone who is less fortunate than he or she is. The victim won't get a better lawyer becaues he or she doesn't have the money for it.

In my personal world, what I also think is unfair or unjust is the way my pastor at church is not giving me and other students a chance to play our instruments during worship. Since we have our time restraints, we cannot come in to practice during Saturdays, but we could come in early during Fridays and Sundays. Just because we have a busy schedule doesn't mean that my pastor can not allow us to play. I'm a Junior now, and I haven't been able to play for my youth group in three years. I think it's about time.

One aspect of today's world that I believe is unfair is the large poverty gap between nations. In the countries within Africa, and some parts of Asia, people are so poor they can't even afford clean water. This is amazing to me because members of my family take showers for more than 30 minutes, probably using enough water to supply a 3rd world village for a week or more.
Usually, I don't side with the poor nations because I believe that all people have a chance to work for their money, and eventually leave poverty stricken areas; but in this case, some people work for so long just to break even with their family's needs. Leaving no room for any kind of profit, and if anything, digging them deeper into debt.

something i find to be unfair about our world today is how much professional athelets get paid.yes they work extremely hard and represent their city or state in games. However the amount that they get paid doesn't match what their job is. players get paid millions of dollars per season to play a game. most of them get paid more than the president of america and he's the one incharge of our country. it also lets the athelets depend on not getting a real job.

another thing that is unfair is how people judge other people on the color of their skin. just because they are of a certain skin color or ethnicity doesn't mean they are like everyine else with the same skin color or ethnic background. in some cases it can even hold them back from getting a job, but sometimes it is for something that isn't bad but still unfair. for example when people say that Asians are good at math, that's not exactly bad but it's still judging them instead of getting to know them.

I think what is unfair in our world is people with who do not get the chance to eat a meal everyday. I feel that everyone deserves to eat because it is an essential to living. It is unfortunate and hard to see people who struggle to find a source of food when we take it for granted getting 3+ meals a day. It should not matter if people are poor or not we are all humans who need the same things to get through life.

In my own life I think it's unfair that I have to clean up my brothers mess everyday. He is old enough to do it himself but me being the oldest and him being the baby my parents feel that it is my responsibility to keep the house clean even when it is not my job.

I feel that terrorism and war are unfair in our society. In most acts of terror or violence, the group imposing terror is often harsh to the innocent. There are many instances where civilians are killed or wounded. A few great examples of this are the 9/11 attacks and the Holocaust.

Another unfair part of our world is the ability to make quick and poor judgements about people. Groups are often judged by faity, color, or nationality. These ways of being judged are unfair because the views of your group do not necissarily reflect your own.

I think unfair things in our society today are the major differences in opportunities that each person has. For example, one person may be from a successful family that makes a plentiful amount of money, and another person may be raised in a poor area consisting of many drugs. The person with the money will have many more opportunities, leading them to ususally an easier life in terms of being able to pay expenses.

The person that doesn't have the money, usually will not have a life this easy. It is likely that they will grow up with drugs and alcohol around them, and naturally acquire these poor habits and addictions. In addition, they really don't have anyone to look up to. Everyone in their environment will usually have a low paying job, due to not attending college or finishing high school, or they deal drugs. The kids growing up with these surroundings think that dealing drugs with the way to get rich. They'll soon turn into these drug dealers. This is a cycle almost because if your dad was a drug dealer, you'll probably be a drug dealer due to the poor influence.

Something that i feel is unfair in the world is poverty. I believe that people shouldn't be living in such aweful conditions were they barely have enough money for food and necessities. The worst is when it is kids that don't have food and can't find anyone and die of starvation and malnutrition. In most parts of Africa it is like this, and the governments do little to help. There is pictures of kid who have no food and stories on how people think their five year olds by their weight and growth, but their really ten or twelve, but malnourished. I went to South Africa over spring break last year and experienced poverty of local communities that were located right next to the well off people of South Africa. In the communities most people didn't have jobs and lived on the little money that the government gave them. They also lived in shacks that were crudely made by four pieces of sheet metal with a makeshift roof that had holes in it. I believe that people shouldn't live in such poverty and that is one unfair thing of this world.

What I think is unfair in this world today is how America has all the great things some nations don't have. I do think America accomplished this work through hard work and the will of freedom, but as of now, America and maybe some other nations are just too powerful. There are nations that are going through poverty, famine, and disease. If we could just unite the world as one, then I would do that because people with power can lend a hand to someone thats undergoing through tough times. This is what I think is unfair.

Something that I think is unfair that goes on today is how much money famous people make. I know that they "earn" their money and that they work for it, but I just feel like it is unfair that they get paid more than the mailman who delivers your mail everyday, or the garbage man who has to come every week and pick up your garbage. Famous people get paid even more then some businessmen, or doctors, or lawyers who have worked very very hard to get to where they are to provide money for themselves or for their families. Yes, Famous people are entertainers from actors to professional football players they all provide entertainment and what they do isn't easy. I just think the difference in pay is way too much.

I think the solution would be to cut the pay of celebrities. Especially the ones who flaunt their money and use it all for dumb and selfish reasons. You shouldn't waste your money on useless things like a meat dress or a suit made of gold or random things like that. I really admire the people who have lots of money and donate it to good causes, and even more i admire the people who dont have a lot of money and even then donate money to people in need.

Every day people in this world go through events that are "unfair" and "unjust". Since we were kids we have been told over and over again that life isn't fair. We all know this but we still continue to complain about it. Unfair events can be as little as not receiving as much credit on a paper you thought you deserved to as big as having to go through a death in the family. I think the world experiences the most unjust events when burdens or tragic events happen to people who don't deserve it.

We have a tendency of thinking that people who break the law or don't treat people right are the ones that deserve to be hurt over the innocent part of our world. For example, if a baby is diagnosed with a life threatening disease or sickness people usually have a harder time dealing with the fact. Or when the nicest people we know suddenly die, it is impossible to figure out the right reasoning behind the event. I think these events are the most unfair because absolutely nothing can explain them which makes it much harder for people to deal with these unfair events.

Today, most people get a long with one another. Back in the day though, many did not. Some of it has carried over until today. People are making fun of eachother by what they look like or what they are wearing to school. You need to look past that and see what is inside of them. I can see it around school, sports, and friends.

Another thing that is unjust or unfair in our world is that adults never take teenagers serious. They think all we want is money and go hang out with our friends. Some people mature late, but a lot of us grow up fast and become adults very quick.

Of the many unjust things in the world today, I am most angered by the immense amount of biased profiling the is present in our life. Such if someone is Muslim they are almost immediately classified as a terrorist or people that wear strange clothes are called "dangerous."
Many of us have heard of people being detained at the airport, but many of the people detained are just normal people. Ever since 9/11 many Americans have been afraid of Muslims, even though it's a fact that a majority of them aren't terrorists. Sadly, this unjust profiling may cause some, otherwise, nice people to become terrorists.
Another profiling that is unneeded is that of people who dress/act differently as "dangerous." I have a friend that has long hair and my mom thinks he's a bad guy, even thpugh he's one of the nicer people I know. Even I have experienced this a bit. Because I don't actively show my knowledge, teachers tend to think I'm stupid, yet I'm in AP physics,Honors Trig/ Pre-Calc, and I am on the Honor Roll.
People need to think before they profile someone as a threat.

I think something that is unfair is segregation and racism. People get to be treated differently because of the color of their skin or where they are from. A whole race shouldnt be judged because of the actions of one person of that race. I know that the first time we see something it stick to our mind, but its unfair that a whole race gets to be judged because of something that one person did.

9/11 attack was tragic and there were many losses but is it really fair to treat all of the muslims or arabians or whoever, as terrorists? there are people that are truly good and there maybe some that arent. But how would we know? thats why i think that we should give every person a chance and treat them fairly.

When innocent people get sentenced to jail time they didnt deserve is very unfair and unjust in society today. The real crooks get away, while the person they framed is spending life behind steel bars.Maybe the justice system had the wrong person but either way in society it occurs often.

Also its the honesty that people dont show. If a crook knows what they did, why dont they just own up to it. Its not fair to the family, the one getting blamed, or to themselves. Eventually it will get better and people will get the "time" they despritly deserve.

I think racism is very unfair and unjust. Loving your country more than other countries is good, but hating, ignoring, or being disrespectful to them because they have different color skin is really unjust.

Everyone tries hard to become the best. Everyone wants to be the best. Taking away their opportunities or not even giving it to thme in the first place just because they're different colored is really unjust and stupid. All races are racist to others. There are so many people who are very talented but they are not doing the best or favorite thing they can do because of racism. Not everyone is racist and I know that there are many good people who are fair, but racism is still a problem in the world.

Also ordinary good people gets unfair treatments weather they are caused by the people or nature. In Holocaust, Jewish people got mass murdered because of their religion and appearance. How is that fair? About half of year ago, Japan got hit by huge earthquake and tsunami, and many innocent lives were lost. How is that fair? In conclusion, world is unfair to every one at somepoint.

I think there are many things unfair in the world. But one thing i feel that is unfair is that professional athletes get paid millions of dollars but Surgeons and other people that actually save lives get paid much less. I understand that a lot of people watch sports and like them but i think that surgeons should get paid more.

I think that surgeons should get paid more than professional athletes is because they are people who save lives and help people become better in health. Not only do they do that, but they also have to do more work to become a surgeon. I also believe that surgeons should get paid more is because it is a more important job. Surgeons help people which in the end helps everyone who has needed treatment. professional athletes only entertain people. So in the end i believe that the world is unfiar for many reasons but one particular reason is that surgeons get paid less than professional athletes.

Unfairness can be seen all around the planet. But most things that people dub as unfair are dumb and pointless problems. The truth of the fact is that many people whine and complain about more things then they should. Calling something unfair should not be used with small things. What really is unfair are things such as death, sickness, poverty, war, destruction and such of the like. Those types of things are what people should use as in comparison to their examples of unfairness. Unless they do amount up to the previous, no one should conplain about any sort of small discomfort or hardship that they have to go through.

I believe that life is unfair because of many reasons. Even when you are born if you are born into a wealthy family you have more opportunites than being born into a poor even though if you work harder than the rich family life is all about connections.

If you are a celebraty why do you need people to give you free stuff? They are some of the richest people in america and professional athletes. Why would you want to get paid so much more money for doing something that you love. You get to have thousands and thousands of people watch you play a sport. Celebraties also get out of jail easily or get away with tickets more than "normal" people do. For example i remeber a nascar driver got caught speeding going about 65 over the speed limit and he got away with a ticket because he was famous.

I think it is unfair that there are many people who wastes things like food or water when there are many other people who need it but don't have it. Many people take things like that for granted. There are people in Africa dying from bad or contaminatied food and water. Then there are people in America who throw away tons and tons of food. It's unfair to those that are without those basic needs to have people wasting the things they so desperatly need.

Also, I think it's unfair how many people are judged. People are treated differently just because of their race, gender, or sexualitiy. that is unfair to them because many people do not take the time to get to know the person. A lot of people see a person for the first time and may immediately think that he's a terrible person because he's African-American or because he's gay and then aviod them to make as little contact as possible. It is unfair to those who are different to be judge by others without getting to know them first.

Billion of people in Africa, South America and Asia live in conditions where they do not have enough to eat and are suffering from starvation. It isn't fair how seperated the world is in two groups. Those who have enough to survive, and those who do not.

Many people do not even know about what is going on in the world. They cannot grasp the concept that there is life different then what we consider normal. There are many people in the world and it is unfair that the majority of them are struggling to survive.

Many things in this world and it's history haven been unfair or unjust. For example something that i find unfair is how come celebrities get sepcial treatment. When some celebrities do the same thing as everyday people do such as get like a DUI or something the average man may get a ticket or go to jail and possibly have their lisence taken away. Where as a celebrity might go to rehab. I find this unfair because why should they get special treatment? Were the same people.

An example of this is when Paris Hilton went to jail she got a special cell that was better than all the other ones and she only went for like a month. I just don't understand it. Celebrities shouldn't get this treatment i mean what do they do that's so great for our world? Make movies? Play sports? Their just our entertainment and they should be treated the same as everybody else

What about all the other people in the world that do something actually important. something i think is unfair or unjust in our world is how much professional sports players get paid. over the years the amount of money professional athletes has just gone up and for the really good players it is incredibly high.

Tom Brady and Peyton Manning are good examples of this. they both have contracts for almost 100 million dollars over like a 6 year period, and they usually play about 18 games a year. Baskeyball is a little more reasonable though. Its only reasonable though beacuse they play like 80 games or around that and most of them still get paid less then nfl players. I dont know how much golf players or baseball players make, and i dont care, but its probably a lot for really not working that hard.being good at sports just takes skill and some practice.

I believe something that is unfair in our world is racisim. America being "The Worlds Melting Pot" still has an enormous amount of problems with accepting the people around us. I hear stereotypes around me all the time and yes, they can be funny jokes but eventually it will cause someone to refer back to that when thinking upon a certain race. Racism is hurtful and ignorant. I feel that racism is equal to hate and hating someone you never knew is unfair.

Another thing that is unfair in our world is pressure on people to be perfect and conform. Everyday, I see girls complain that they're fat or that they arent a size 2. Nobodys the same and to aim for something that may not be healthy for your body type is wrong. Girls just dont think theyre pretty anymore. T.V. and the media are pressuring girls to become smaller and smaller. When did being curvy not make you beautiful? Society is teaching kids to be vain and not feel comfortable with who they are, and thats a terribly unfair thing to do.

Not everything in life is fair. And something that I find unfair is how only seinors can have parking passes. If you look at the parking lot there are so many parking spots open that could be sold to other students. The only way for juniors to have a parking pass is to buy it off of some seinor for a lot more money than they got it for.
Most juniors have their license and can drive. Even some sophomores are able to drive. So just to be able to drive to school they have to park near the school and walk at least ten minutes from their car because they don't have a parking pass. So I think that they should allow at least some juniors to have parking passes because the seinors don't even fill up the entire parking lot. I just think that that is so unfair.

There are many things in the world today that are unfair. For example, the way people are treated by others. Some people are so high strung and think they are so much better and deserve the best. In reality thats not true. We are all equal wether the common people choose to believe it or not. It's not fair to the rest of society if certian people get special treatment. We are all equals and should be treated that way.

People should not judge others on the way they look or judge who they are just by first glances. Sometimes people cant help that they studder or might not be as pretty as the person standing next to them. That is just they way they are. Looks don't matter. What matters is what is inside the person. Looks don't define a person. Their personality and morals do that. People judging others is just one of the other millions of things that are unfair in our life.

What i think is unfair is the price of college. In total hundreds of thousands of dollars are put tworads and education that is every persons right anyway. This is all so the colleges can bulid a new useless superdome or increase their add campaign to draw in even more money. another thing that is unfair is the enourmous gap between the rich and poor. There are many things in the world today that could be considered unjust or unfair. One thing that I feel is unfair is that people in countries other than America do not always have the same oppertunities and freedoms as Americans. The reason I feel this is not just is because in the United States I can feel free to do what I want and try out new things, but from traveling I can tell that most people from other countries can not feel the same way. It is not fair that I can have many oppertunities to do what I want, but they are not able because of their government.

Another thing that I see as unfair in the world today is parenting towards children. I realize that every parent has different views on how to raise their child, but I see it as unfair because then children may feel upset when they find out they got in trouble for something, but their friend did not. For example, some parents may ground their children for receiving straight B's on their report card because they wanted to see straight A's, but another parent might congradulate their child for receiving straight B's.

I believe that the world is beyond unfair. The worst things always happen to the best people. For example, my english teacher in 8th grade was the nicest and most inspirational teacher. She constantly was giving us life quotes and lessons on how to live our lives to the fullest. Then we found out she had been diagnosed with breast cancer, for the second time..I never heard what happened to her. I hope she is okay, she deserves this life. I have never met anyone so inspirational.

I also hate how the little things go unnoticed. For example, in a sport, it's always the person who scores that gets all the glory. It's never the defense, who works their butts off to defend their goal. The person who gives the ball to the person who scores rarely gets any credit either! Another example is when people do something right like stick up for their friends, or do anything really nice, more times than not it goes unnoticed. The friend will never know the nice things they said about them, or the way they saved their butt.

There are many things in our world that aren't exactly fair. One of them, in my opinion, is the fact that famous athletes and celebrities make all the money in the world for what I believe to be pretty easy work. Yes, they do have to live with cameras in their face 24/7 and an enormous amount of pressure, but lots of people work so much harder than them their entire life and still don't have enough money to pay their bills or support themselves. Obviously, everyone has to make a living some how but it is unfair to those who so hard that recieve so little.

There are many things I could name that are unfair. The fact that some people are unable to go to college just because they can't afford isn't fair. Basically, without going to college, your future may not be as great as it could have been. There are scholarships you can get, but that would mean you would have to work extra hard, ten those who could easlu go away to college.

Back then the term was race. But nowadays i think its rude when you judge someone, i mean all people do it, but it shouldnt happen. When you judge someone and they hear especially when its your best friend, it hurts on the inside. People also get sick and tired of hearing it and sometimes when people get judged or made fun it leads to suicide, and we dont want people dieing in the world because of people making fun of them.

Most of them asre just a part of everyones lives, other things are challenges in life that a specific person specifically has to deal with. There are alot of things in our world that I believe is unfair. One thing in particular I believe is unfair is the way people judge and assume things about people. People are judged everyday just because of appearence or what they look like. I'm not saying I've never judged somebody because of their appearence but I find myself doing that less and less because I've met some of the most amazing people that others wouldn't even give them the time of day. It's just not fair to judge somebody because of the amount of money they have or the size of house they have. Something I've heard that I like is, it's not about quantity it's about quality. Meaning it's not about how much you have it's about you as a person and your qualities.

I also believe that judging people just because of their skin color or race is very unfair. Just because they have a different color skin or accent, doesnt mean that they cant do certain things or anything like that. Look at our president for instance, he is our first african american president. Which does show alot of how America has stopped judging people because of color but I still think it is unfair when it does happen.

Something i tihnk is unjust or unfair in our world, is the government. They say we have freedoms to all these different things, but in reality they take away as much of our freedom as they can. Theres a section of government that they filter every single e-mail message being sent and a computer reads them all and relays back if anything doesnt sound right. I think its also unfair that they just raise taxes and prices to help pay for the debt THEY got us into. Its like they need to know where we are and what we are diong every minute of every day.

I dont know about you, but it sure seems like they're invading into everyones life so that nothing is private anymore. They can monitor your phone calls, go through all the texts you have sent if they want. They could go see every website youve been on and what youve been doing on those websites. There taking everything away a little bit at a time.

The world is unjust. There's no getting around it. An easy example is when somebody dies. You almost alway's here the people closest to the deceased asking "why?", "why now", "why him (or her)", saying "it's just not fair" and so on. but life is not fair. And as sad as it can be death is apart of life. It's something everybody has to deal with.
Death is not the only unfair thing we deal with. We deal with the people we live with. The world itself is unfair. We as the people rarely treat everyone fairly. Thomas Jefferson said that you couldn't trust the government. At the same time Alexander Hamilton said you can't trust the people. They were both right. Nothing's ever going to be comepletly fair. It's something we all have to live with and accept because there's no way to change it.
A prime example of the unfairness in our world is how the rich get a free pass. Look at the celebrities. How many times do they commit a crime and get away with it? It's not fair to anyone that they can get away with almost anything. Even when they do get punished by law it's not enough. They serve way less time than if me or you had been convicted of the same crime.

I understand that we need an ID to get into the school, pay for lunches, and many other parts of the school day. But why can't we just keep our ID in our pocket or on our person. We could still present the ID when ever it would be needed and by doing it this way the ID would not be annoying to wear all day. This goes to prove that wearing an ID all day just ends up being unfair considering that there is a simple answer to the problem.

People advise, "Don't judge a book by its cover," but do they really follow that statement. Many people face racism and are judged by stereotypes. Whether claiming that all the good basketball players are African American, or only Asians eat sushi, statements like those are mostly untrue and quite offensive. Events such as 9/11, people have feared terrorism. There are those people who desire to harm our society, but accusing a bunch of people who just look or seem bad is not moral.

Being half Iranian, I have heard people murmur "terrorist" under their breath whether it was just to be funny, or an expression of hatred. Apparently, being Middle Eastern automatically made one a terrorist, which in a way, makes them the cause of 9/11. That kind of assumption is unconscionable. Ignorance causes people to be unknowledgable about these things. Osama BinLaden was not Iranian, and he was not Islamic. It is wrongful to judge others based on where they are from, what their nationality is, or how they look. If only society could be more openly accepting; there would be more peace and confidence in our lives.

Cheating is unfair because someone might have studied hours for the same test the cheater took and get a C. The cheater may have wrote down important information and looked at it during the test, which may result in an A. The student who put forth more effort and studied should get the better grade, not the one who cheated.

For example, since 9/11 people have been more afraid of Muslims and assuming that they are terrorists. Also a lot of people judge each other by their color and appearance. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and if their opinion is bad, then they shouldn't share it to those who feel offended. Also, greediness can get to some people, especially to those who are rich. Once they get rich, they think that they don't have enough money still and want more money, and that extra money can used for something else better.

It is unjust that the blog website refuses to let me do my homework assignment. I have tried twice to complete it but both times it has thwarted my efforts.
During class, I tried to preview my answer and the blog deleted my response. At home, I once again started writing only to realize that the verification box was x-ed out, making it impossible for me to post. The blog is totally unfair because it is trying to keep me from obtaining a decent grade on this assignment.

i think the existence of money is one of the most unfair things in the world. the little green slips of paper control how almost the whole world works. nothing should have the power the restrict what people can accomplish and if you dont have money you dont have opportunity.

One thing that I find unfair or unjust in the world, is a problem I have at school. I have no issues with the school IDs, the five minute freeze, test/quiz days, or with the school's dress code or tardy rules. I have an issue with the way some of the hall monitors treat you, not only at fremd high school but at other district 211 schools as well. I believe that every student here is a young adult and the ways that they choose to speak to an adult is their decision and should reflect only on their behavior and personality, but sometimes it can effect other students. I know I cannot have been the only student with a problem based on the way some of the hall monitors treat the students. There is no reason to be disrespectful to a student if they are being respectful.

Another thing I find unjust or unfair is the way kids judge other kids. It shouldn't matter what someone is wearing one day or what their hair looks like, it should matter who they are on the inside. Kids get bullied all the time just because they are a little different. Difference is what make our world dynamic and what makes each person individualy unique. If people live in fear of being different they're never really living.
